Visual artist born in Barcelona.
Originally trained in Law, she later redirected her career towards artistic creation, studying Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. Her work has evolved from figurative painting towards a more abstract and material-based language encompassing painting, sculpture, ceramics, and artist’s books. Her practice is characterized by a search for calm, silence, and harmony through delicate, organic compositions. Subtlety, repetition, and the poetics of the fragment are recurring elements in her visual universe. Coming from a family connected to the textile world, this heritage is reflected in her use of materials such as linen, cotton, silk, threads, and antique embroidery. These reclaimed fabrics are integrated into her work as layers of memory and emotion, linking her artistic practice to a personal and familial history. For her, material is not only a support but also narrative, trace, and gesture. In recent years, she has expanded her artistic research by incorporating wood —both new and reclaimed— which she transforms through incisions and perforations. This work introduces a sculptural, physical, and almost performative dimension to her process. At the same time, she has begun experimenting with ceramics, drawn to its malleability and its capacity to engage with form, volume, and time. Her creative process often begins with found elements or fragments. She works slowly and intuitively, establishing an intimate dialogue with materials. She is interested in the unfinished, in what is suggested rather than fully revealed, and in the balance between presence and emptiness. Artista visual nacida en Barcelona.
Licenciada en Derecho, reorientó su trayectoria hacia la creación artística, formándose en Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Barcelona. Su obra ha evolucionado desde la pintura figurativa hacia un lenguaje más abstracto y matérico, que abarca la pintura, la escultura, la cerámica y el libro de artista. Su trabajo se caracteriza por una búsqueda de calma, silencio y armonía, a través de composiciones delicadas y orgánicas. La sutileza, la repetición y la poética del fragmento son elementos constantes en su universo visual. Proveniente de una familia vinculada al mundo textil, esa herencia se manifiesta en el uso de materiales como lino, algodón, seda, hilos y bordados antiguos. Estas telas recuperadas se integran en su obra como capas de memoria y emoción, conectando su práctica artística con una historia personal y familiar. La materia, en su caso, no es solo soporte: es narración, rastro y gesto. En los últimos años ha ampliado su investigación plástica incorporando la madera —nueva o reciclada—que transforma mediante incisiones y perforaciones . Este trabajo con la madera introduce un componente escultórico, físico y casi performativo en su proceso. Paralelamente, ha comenzado a experimentar con la cerámica, atraída por su maleabilidad y su capacidad de diálogo con la forma, el volumen y el tiempo. Su proceso creativo parte muchas veces del hallazgo o del fragmento. Trabaja de manera lenta e intuitiva, estableciendo un diálogo íntimo con los materiales. Le interesa lo inacabado, lo que se sugiere más que lo que se muestra, el equilibrio entre presencia y vacío.
